Illegal dumping, 10:44 a.m.: 1600 block of Highway 101.
Criminal trespass, 10:58 a.m.: 400 block of Alder Street.
Hazard, 12:34 p.m.: Tree down along South Bank Chetco River Road near Shady Lane.
Disorderly conduct, 2:52 p.m.: A male transient was disturbing KFC/Taco Bell customers. He was ordered never to return.
Shots fired, 3:11 p.m.: 700 block of Clair Lane.
Water problem, 4:43 p.m.: 700 block of Second Street.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 5:41 p.m.: A two-vehicle accident was reported in the Fred Meyer parking lot. The drivers involved exchanged information.
Hazard, 6:13 p.m.: Fourth Street.
Elude, 10:08 p.m.: A routine traffic stop by a Brookings officer near Chetco Avenue and Alder Street turned into a chase that ended up on Campbell Road off South Bank Chetco River Road. Deputies responded from Gold Beach while Brookings police attempted to locate the suspect and/or his vehicle.

Thursday, Jan. 9
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 6:02 a.m.: 400 block of Chetco Avenue.
Hit and run, 11:26 a.m.: A citizen reported hit and run damage to his vehicle for information.
Overdue subjects, 12:07 p.m.: A couple reported overdue to return home for dinner were located by family. They had spent the night in Crescent City.
Criminal mischief, 1:01 p.m.: Park Avenue.
Suspicious conditions, 2 p.m.: 1000 block of Ransom Avenue.
Possession of drugs, 3:59 p.m.: An adult male in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue was cited for less than 1 ounce marijuana, failure to carry proof of insurance, and no driver license. He was also warned for road rage.
Disorderly conduct, 4:06 p.m.: An adult male was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to jail following a fight at a residence in the 1000 block of Easy Street. An adult female was cited for interfering with a police investigation and released.
Non-Injury vehicle accident, 4:12 p.m.: A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 16200 block of Highway 101.
Water problem, 5:29 p.m.: 200 block of Cypress Street.
Theft, 7:50 p.m.: An adult female was arrested for shoplifting from Fred Meyer and released.
Misuse of 911, 8:08 p.m.: A child called 911 14 times throughout the day with no emergency, interfering with actual emergencies in progress. The location was finally pinpointed, and the father was contacted. He was advised of the circumstances and asked to remove the battery of the cell phone he is letting his child play with.
Explosion, 8:18 p.m.: Fifield Street.
Dispute/fight, 8:47 p.m.: Court Street.
