Tuesday, Feb. 5
Injury vehicle accident, 4:18 a.m.: North Bank Chetco River Road.
Criminal mischief, 10:39 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Found property, 6:52 p.m.: A black pager was found in the 300 block of Fifth Street.
Hit and run, 9:07 p.m.: 97800 block of Marks Lane.
Menacing, 10:35 p.m.: 98300 block of Seahorse Lane.
DUII, 11:42 p.m.: 1000 block of Parkview Drive.
Wednesday, Feb. 6
Unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, 4:59 a.m.: Ransom Avenue.
Found property, 9:52 a.m.: Easy and Sixth streets.
Hit and run, 11:05 a.m.: 600 block of Railroad Street.
Disorderly conduct, 11:57 a.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 11:59 a.m.: 97700 block of Highway 101.
Fire, 2:28 p.m.: Police received a report of smoke filling a room at a residence for no known reason in the 400 block of Pine Street. Brookings Fire Department found a bed that had been moved up against a heater.
Disabled vehicle, 2:44 p.m.: A deputy advised Brookings Police Department of a disabled vehicle impeding traffic at Chetco Avenue and Fifth Street. An officer, along with a few helpful citizens, were able to move the vehicle out of the roadway.
Hit and run, 2:49 p.m.: A report of a hit and run that occurred on Monday in a parking lot in the 300 block of Fifth Street was reported.
Hit and run, 4:36 p.m.: A city pole was clipped by a passing vehicle at Chetco Avenue and Oak Street. The driver was trying to avoid another vehicle that cut him off. There was no damage to the city pole or injuries to the vehicle’s occupant.
Probation violation, 5:06 p.m.: A citizen reported her upstairs neighbor was screaming in her apartment in the 1200 block of Moore Street. Police found the woman was upset. She was warned for disorderly conduct and also found to be in violation of her probation.
Criminal trespass, 5:09 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Alarm, 7:31 p.m.: Brookings Fire Department respnded to a fire alarm and could see light smoke inside the residence. Contact was made with the residents who advised they burned food on the stove.
Suspicious conditions, 8:44 p.m.: A citizen reported a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Hazel Street.
Thursday, Feb. 7
Fight, 12:35 a.m.: A family dispute between brothers was reported in the 800 block of Easy Street. The men were separated for the evening.
Elude, 2:15 a.m.: East Harris Heights Road.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 7:55 a.m.: East Harris Heights Road.
Lost property, 10:41 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, 12:58 p.m.: A wallet was lost between the 300 block of Fifth Street and Fir Street.
Theft, 1:58 p.m.: 500 block of Old County Road.
Lost property, 2:01 p.m.: Brookings area.
Theft, 2:57 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Theft, 3:11 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 6:11 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and Alder Street.
Animal complaint, 9:28 p.m.: Animal complaint issue regarding two dogs fighting was reported in the 95600 block of English Drive.
Shots fired, 9:35 p.m.: Police received a report of a single shot heard near Chetco RV.
