Friday, Feb. 15
Prowler, 12:16 a.m.: 16100 block of West Hoffeldt Lane.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 2:10 p.m.: 500 block of Myrtle Street.
Warrant service, 5:39 p.m.: An adult male, wanted by Washington State Parole Board for escape, was located inside a business in the 300 block of Fifth Street. He was arrested and transported to Curry County Jail.
Disorderly conduct, 6:08 p.m.: 800 block of Fawn Drive.
Driving complaint, 8:19 p.m.: An off duty officer advised he was nearly side-swiped in his personal vehicle, and that the other vehicle had crossed over the lines several times while following it. An on-duty officer pulled the vehicle over and found that the driver was not intoxicated.
Suspicious conditions, 11:46 p.m.: 17000 block of Webb Lane.
DUII, 11:54 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and Fifth Street.
Saturday, Feb. 16
Fight, 12:52 a.m.: Police received a report of a physical and verbal dispute in the 300 block of Matot Street. One man was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor. A woman was cited for minor in possession and another man was arrested for interfering with a police officer.
Fight, 1:04 a.m.: 500 block of Railroad Street.
Hazard, 9:29 a.m.: A green bucket was in the roadway near Lone Ranch. Oregon State Police took care of this call.
Animal complaint, 11 a.m.: A huskey-type male dog was found in the 500 block of Railroad Street and taken to the Curry County Animal Shelter in Gold Beach.
Found property, 12:10 p.m.: A driver license was found in the 19200 block of Highway 101.
Found property, 1:47 p.m.: A ring was found at Azalea Middle School.
Reckless driving, 1:17 p.m.: Highway 101 southbound into California.
Rescue operation, 5:28 p.m.: A caller advised that a man fell over a cliff and into the bushes in the 1300 block of Crissey Circle. Brookings fire and Brookings police departments responded to assist with a ladder. The man was safely brought back up to the top.
Shots fired, 8:30 p.m.: A single shot was heard in the 1100 block of Ransom Avenue. The caller reported it to be very loud and did not believe it was fireworks. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anything suspicious.
Criminal mischief, 8:49 p.m.: A motorist called to report a boy jumping out in the road behind vehicles and walking like a zombie in the road. The caller was concerned for the juvenile’s safety. Officers made contact with a group of juveniles in the 1100 block of Boyer Court and warned them to stay out of traffic and to go home.
Illegal camping, 9:52 p.m.: A Harris Beach park ranger reported several vehicles parked after hours, possibly camping illegally. One person was located and advised the vehicles belonged to a high school oceanography class participating in a project.
Suspicious conditions,11:17 p.m.: An employee of business in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue advised of a suspicious man. The man was warned for trespassing.
Sunday, Feb. 17
Fight, 1:53 a.m.: Police were unable to call out a deputy in spite of multiple 911 calls regarding a fight at Harbor Inn Motel.
Assault, 11:50 a.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101.
Found property, 1:58 p.m.: Kissing Rock.
Found property, 2:25 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Illegal burn, 4:04 p.m.: Harbor Fire extinguished an illegal burn at Carson and Sherwood lanes.
Fight, 8:13 p.m.: 600 block of Fifth Street.
Monday, Feb. 18
Suspicious conditions, 12:15 a.m.: Port of Brookings Harbor.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 4:01 p.m.: A single vehicle accident was reported at West Benham and Lucas lanes.
Suspicious conditions, 5:31 p.m.: A possible theft from a deceased person was reported in the 800 block of Crestwood Place. The items were returned the same day.
Prowler, 8:35 p.m.: 15300 block of Highway 101.
