Thursday, Feb. 6

Field interview, 12:20 a.m.: Police talked with the driver of vehicle that was pulled off the road abruptly in the 600 block of Railroad Street. He was having vehicle issues and was going to attempt to make repairs. 

Fire, 10:44 a.m.: A fire in the trees was reported in the area of South Bank Chetco River Road and Mount Emily, east of Willow Ranch; Coos Forest Patrol was notified. Nothing further was heard.

Forgery/fraud/bad check, 2:23 p.m.: A citizen was a victim of credit card fraud in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Theft, 2:52 p.m.: A citizen reported the theft of tools and welding equipment from vehicle. 

Found property, 3;26 p.m.: A bicycle found on Ransom Avenue was picked up by an officer for safekeeping. 

Theft, 4:43 p.m.: 16300 block of Grootendorst Lane. 

Hit and run, 4:49 p.m.: A citizen was the victim of a hit and run while his car was parked at Fred Meyer. 

Hazard, 5:18 p.m.: Eggers Road and Highway 101. 

Suspicious conditions, 7:08 p.m.: Court Street. 

Field interview, 8:32 p.m.: A juvenile was warned by an officer for riding bike at night without lights in the 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Field interview, 11:58 p.m.: A second warning was given to the same male for riding a bike at night without lights in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue. The man was warned he will be cited if contacted again for the same violation. 

Friday, Feb. 7 

Suspicious conditions, 4:12 a.m.: A suspicious vehicle was driving slowly in the area of Pacific and Chetco avenues was determined to be a logging crummy picking up workers.

Disorderly conduct, 6:43 a.m.: An adult male was arrested for criminal trespassing, menacing, and disorderly conduct when he returned to market in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue after being told not to return to the property. 

Hit and run, 8:21 a.m.: An officer investigated a hit and run, property damage following a report of damaged mailboxes and tire tracks on a lawn in the 200 block of Musser Street. A possible suspect vehicle was located. 

Suspicious conditions, 9:09 a.m.: 1600 block of Highway 101. 

Forgery/fraud/bad check, 11:24 a.m.: A citizen in the 700 block of Fifth Street provided information regarding a fraudulent text he received from a bank wanting his vital information. The bank confirmed that this is a scam. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 3:01 p.m.: Oak Street and Chetco Avenue. 

Fire, 4:25 p.m.: Coos Fire Protection Association responded to Packers Cabin on Forest Service Road 1917. 

Hazard, 5:05 p.m.: Ransom Avenue. 

Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 5:31 p.m.: 97700 block of South Bank Chetco River Road. 

Suspicious conditions, 9:27 p.m.: 1000 block of Seventh Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:57 p.m. 96700 block of North Bank Chetco River Road. 

DUII, 11:05 p.m.: An adult male was arrested for DUII at Easy Street and Easy Manor Drive. He was cited and released to a sober driver. 

Saturday, Feb. 8 

Loud noise, 12:09 a.m.: Officers contact adult males having a loud party in the 800 block of Pioneer Road. They assured officers they would keep the noise level down. 

Field interview, 12:40 a.m.: A juvenile warned for curfew and riding a scooter without a helmet at Alder and Spruce streets. 

Unauthorized use of a vehicle; 2:24 a.m.: 97800 block of Court Street. 

Storm problem, 10:21 a.m.: Officers monitored a downed electrical wire in the 300 block of Railroad Street until Coos-Curry Electric could respond. 

Found property, 2:27 p.m.: A wallet and cell phone were turned into Brookings police. The owner was contacted and reclaimed the items. 

Disorderly conduct, 3:04 p.m.: An adult male transient was warned for disorderly conduct in the 300 block of Chetco Avenue.

Disorderly conduct, 3:58 p.m.: An adult male transient in the 400 block of Fir Street was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct and transported to jail. 

Criminal trespass, 4:15 p.m.: A person was warned for criminal trespassing at McDonald’s and left. 

Intoxicated subject, 4:30 p.m.: An adult male reported to be drinking in his vehicle at the library was not as reported. He was in the library and had cans for recycling in his vehicle. 

Theft, 4:53 p.m.: 17100 block of Stafford Drive. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:27 p.m.: Mill Beach Road. 

Possession of drugs, 11:26 p.m.: An adult female was arrested for possession of hash on Macklyn Cove Road. A male adult passenger was cited for less than 1 ounce of possession of marijuana. The drugs and related paraphernalia were seized for destruction. 

Sunday, Feb. 10 

Suspicious conditions, 7:34 a.m.: 800 block of Old County Road. 

Shots fired, 12:32 p.m.: 96100 block of Daina Lane. 

Custodial interference, 3:42 p.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road. 

Illegal camping, 8:12 p.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 8:58 p.m.: 97900 block of Court Street. 

Juvenile problem, 11:03 p.m.: 600 block of Richard Street. 

Monday, Feb. 10 

Theft, 10:50 a.m.: 98000 block of Gerlach Lane. 

Lost property, 12:28 p.m.: Park Avenue.

Missing person, 6:30 p.m.: 500 block of Fern Street. 

Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 10:56 p.m.: 300 block of Alder Street. 

Loud noise, 11:07 p.m.: 700 block of Old County Road. 

Suspicious conditions, 11:43 p.m.: 1400 block of Glenwood Drive.
