Prowler, 5:10 a.m.: Harris Beach State Park campground.

Burglary, 8:40 a.m.: 600 block of Hemlock Street.

Illegal camping, 9:07 a.m.: Bridge Street.

Water problem, 9:16 a.m.: 1300 block of Glenwood Street.

Littering, 11:01 a.m.: 400 block of Redwood Street.

Hazard, 11:22 a.m.: Highway 101 at Whaleshead.

Dispute/fight, 11:23 a.m.: 99200 block of Winchuck River Road.

Hazard, 1:22 p.m.: Highway 101 and Benham Lane.

Dispute/fight: 3:46 p.m.: North Bank Chetco River Road.

Disorderly conduct, 7:43 p.m.: Elmer Bankus Fountain.

Dispute/fight, 9:53 p.m.: 800 block of Kevin Place.

Suspicious conditions, 10:15 p.m.: 400 block of Maple Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 27

Suspicious conditions, 5:46 a.m.: 97900 block of Court Street.

Hazard, 7:40 a.m.: A citizen reported a possible health hazard at a business in the 800 block of Chetco Ave.

Suspicious conditions, 8:42 a.m.: Information was provided regarding a van with people in it that may be camping on Fifield Street.

Theft, 9:27 a.m.: A citizen paid a man to put in a sprinkler system at his home in the 17100 block of Mountain Drive, but no work has been done.

Loud noise, 9:46 a.m.: A resident in the 700 block of Second Street was contacted regarding loud music, which has been an ongoing complaint by neighbors. He agreed to keep the volume at a reasonable level.

Animal complaint, 9:56 a.m.: A dog owner in the 700 block of Pioneer Road was contacted regarding  barking complaints.

Criminal mischief, 10:38 a.m.: A resident in the 1100 block of Rowland Lane reported the back window of his RV was shattered within the past few days.

Driving complaint, 11:54 a.m.: Highway 101 at Lone Ranch Beach.

Dispute/fight, 12:42 a.m.: Parties involved in a verbal dispute in the 400 block of Pine Street agreed to remain apart for the rest of the day.

Hazard, 1 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and Oak Street.

Non-injury traffic crash, 1:23 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and North Bank Chetco River Road.

Fire, 2:24 p.m.: Harbor Fire and Coos Forest Protective Association put out a smoldering driftwood fire on Sporthaven Beach.

Driving complaint, 3:02 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and Center Street.

Criminal mischief, 5:23 p.m.: The owner of a vehicle found someone had shot out his window at Spruce and Wharf streets.

Hazard, 7:46 p.m.: Tools laying in the roadway at Mill Beach Road and Railroad Street were removed and placed on the sidewalk.

Harassment, 8:10 p.m.: 200 block of Cypress Street.

Suspicious conditions, 10:20 p.m.: Harris Beach State Park day use area.

Water problem, 11:10 p.m.: Alder Street near Dairy Queen.

Thursday, Aug. 28

Animal complaint, 4:27 a.m.: 500 block of Ransom Avenue.

Driving complaint, 10:07 a.m.: Highway 101 at the construction zone near Dawson Road.

Driving complaint, 10:53 a.m.: Highway 101 northbound from Benham Lane. The driver was stopped and warned.

Suspicious conditions, 11:09 a.m.: 1000 block of Chetco Avenue.

Forgery/fraud/bad check, 1:10 p.m.: 98800 block of Pleasant Hill Drive.

Telephone harassment, 1:20 p.m.: 1200 block of Hub Street.

Field interview, 1:23 p.m.: An officer talked to the guardian of two young children who were playing in Fifth Street.

Non-injury traffic crash, 3:20 p.m.: Parties involved in a fender bender on Moore Street exchanged information.

Illegal burn, 5:50 p.m.: The report of a fire at a residence at Fifth and Easy streets was not located by fire personnel.

Fire, 6:33 p.m.: Cape Ferrelo Fire Department was unable to locate what was reported as a small brush fire on Eggers Road.

Fire, 6:54 p.m.: Coos Forest Protective Association and Brookings Fire responded to put out a campfire on Rainbow Rock Beach below the Welcome to Brookings sign.

Animal complaint, 7:04 p.m.: 700 block of Chetco Avenue.

Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 7:37 p.m.: An officer contacted a male transient who was reportedly trying vehicle doors parked at Fred Meyer. No entry was made.

Suspicious conditions, 8:52 p.m.: 15300 block of Oceanview Drive.

Animal complaint, 10:23 p.m.: Five miles up Winchuck River Road.
