Tuesday Aug. 19 

Dispute/fight, 11:33 a.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Found property, 1:02 p.m.: South jetty at mouth of Chetco River.

Threats, 1:05 p.m.: 1:05 p.m.: 800 block of Easy Street. 

Threats, 2:14 p.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive. 

Hazard, 2:15 p.m.: 900 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Criminal trespass, 5:13 p.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. 

Hazard, 16300 block of Highway 101. 

Bike/skateboard complaint: Fir Street. 

Explosion, 9:02 p.m.: Brookings Airport.

Brookings police made four traffic stops. 

Wednesday, Aug. 20 

Criminal mischief, 2:13 a.m.: A male transient became agitated in the police department lobby and spit on the floor. An officer directed him to clean it, which he did. 

Suspicious conditions, 2:17 p.m.: Whaleshead trail. 

Harassment, 4:50 p.m.: 800 block of Highland Avenue. 

Loud noise, 5:52 p.m.: A resident in the 800 block of Limbaugh Way was asked to keep his music volume down and he complied. 

Runaway, 8:07 p.m.: A runaway juvenile was located by officers and returned to his parents in the 600 block of Richard Street.

Brooking police made five traffic stops resulting in three citations.

Thursday, Aug. 21

Disorderly conduct, 2:21 a.m.: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was found walking in the middle of a southbound lane in the path of oncoming traffic on the Chetco River bridge.

Found property, 5:30 a.m.: A small black keychain flashlight found at Chetco Avenue and Oak Street was placed in the lost and found drawer at the police station.

Criminal trespass, 9:20 a.m.: 16200 block of Terrace Street.

Theft, 9:25 a.m.: A Cedar Street resident reported loaning her car to a friend back in June and the car was not returned the next day as promised.

Suspicious conditions, 10:56 p.m.: Juveniles were reportedly digging through mailboxes in the 500 block of Ransom Avenue that were not their own. An officer counseled them and contacted their parents.

Found property, 11:28 a.m.: Easy Street.

Animal complaint, 11:42 a.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Dispute/fight, 2 p.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 2:19 p.m.: Highway 101 at Pistol River.

Found property, 3:02 p.m.: A fanny pack found was later claimed by its owner.

Lost property, 4:06 p.m.: Harris Beach Rest Area.

Found property, 4:55 p.m.: Identification for a Port Orford resident was turned in to the police station.

Theft, 5:19 p.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101.

Runaway, 6:08 p.m.: A juvenile ran away from the 200 block of Cypress Street but later returned home.

Vehicle impounded, 6:37 p.m.: Officers stopped a car in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue after observing two people having an animated dispute while the car was in motion.The driver was cited for driving while suspended and the car towed.

Animal complaint, 6:53 p.m.: 17200 block of Garvin Court.
