Suspicious conditions, 3:29 a.m.; Easy and Second streets.
Counterfeit, 4:11 a.m.: Turned in to Brookings Police Department.
Bike/skateboard complaint, 5:35 p.m.: Joe Hall Creek.
Dispute/fight, 6:06 p.m.: 900 block of Timberline Drive.
Illegal burn, 7:43 p.m.: Mill Beach.
Wednesday, Aug. 28
Hazard, 1:34 a.m.; 16200 block of Highway 101.
Injury vehicle accident, 7:34 a.m.: 96100 block of Foxglove Way.
Harassment, 10:17 a.m.: An officer took a harassment complaint from a citizen in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue.
Forgery/fraud/bad check, 10:37 a.m.: An officer took a report of fraudulent signature on a prescription at a business in the 400 block of Oak Street.
Found property, 5:35 p.m.: Keys found on Spruce Street were placed in lost and found drawer.
Bike/skateboard complaint, 6:03 p.m.: 800 block of Ransom Avenue.
Dispute/fight, 9:06 p.m.: An adult son tried to break into his parents’ home in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. He fled in his pickup when police were called. Officers contacted the man and he was warned to not trespass on his parents’ property.
Drug distribution, 9:43 p.m.: K9 Charger was used in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue.
Suspicious conditions, 11:05 p.m.: An adult male was told not to return to city of Brookings property after harassing an employee.
Thursday, Aug. 29
Suspicious conditions, 2:14 a.m.: A child was reportedly screaming at a residence at the top of Pioneer Road. An officer was unable to locate the noise.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 2:16 a.m.: Oceanview Drive and Highway 101.
Suspicious conditions, 10:31 a.m.: An officer assisted a citizen with telephonic harassment complaint in the 1200 block of Iris Street.
Criminal mischief, 1:12 p.m.: A citizen reported criminal mischief on Chetco Point Terrace.
Forgery/fraud/bad check 3 p.m.: A citizen provided information about a scam out of Canada. She was not a victim.
Suspicious conditions, 4:47 p.m.: A family friend pretending to be an abductor caused fear to two young girls at Myrtle and Pine street and generated a multi-agency law enforcement response. Law enforcement is attempting to locate this family friend.
Criminal trespass, 6:01 p.m.: The owner of property in the 200 block of King Street needed assistance by officers to order a man to leave.
Suspicious conditions, 7:50 p.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road.
Criminal trespass, 9:46 p.m.: A woman was told to leave Fred Meyer.
