Richard J. Joyner, born 1982, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, felony assault and escape, and will face a jury trial Jan. 15.
Jack Anthony Althof, born 1967, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to theft and criminal trespassing charges and will serve 120 days in jail and pay $550 in fines. A separate theft charge and charges of failing to appear in court were dismissed.
The state has closed its case against Kirkley Walter Trent, born 1956, of Gold Beach, as the man has died.
Melissa Kay Peper, born 1979, of Bandon had revoked her diversionary treatment on original charges in 2011 of possession of methamphetamine and DUII after she failed to appear in court. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Chamet Spring Phillippi, born 1981, no hometown given, was issued a warrant for her arrested after she failed to appear in court on charges of possession of methamphetamine.
Sean David Russell, Jr., born 1993, of Crescent City, as arraigned on two charges of assault and one each of DUII, reckless driving and criminal mischief.
Charges of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana were dismissed against William E. Upton, born 1969, of Harbor.
Francis Evelyn Genevieve Schriver, born 1987, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to two charges of interfering with a peace officer and one each of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Dustin Alan Black pleaded guilty and was convicted on DUII and contempt of court charges. He was sentenced to one year of diversion, a $440 fine and must install an ignition lock on his vehicle — all revoked — and must forfeit his weapon. A charge of carrying a concealed weapon was dismissed.
James Dalton Gillespie, born 1976, of Brookings, had his trial rescheduled to April 10 where he faces assault charges. He also pleaded not guilty to felony possession of marijuana and delivering marijuana to someone younger than 18 and faces a 12-person jury March 7.
Matthew Sol Hughes, born 1971, of Brookings, was arraigned on felony charges of a felon possession a firearm and a restricted weapon and disorderly conduct.
Kurtis W. Sabin, born 1992, of Gold Beach, faces a felony rape pre-trial conference Jan. 22.
Tevis Eugene Scheuchzer, born 1978, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on felony sex abuse charges.
Johnny Lee Smith, born 1958, of Gold Beach, was issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear in court.
Richard Randall Stansberry, born 1950, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving charges and faces a six-person jury Feb. 4.
William Benard Tremmel, born 1935, of Langlois, pleaded guilty to two charges of contempt of court and had a misdemeanor assault and another contempt of court charge dismissed.
Dawn Loree Georgeson, born 1993, of Coquille, pleaded not guilty to minor in possession of alcohol and faces trial Jan. 28.
Crystal Ann Taylor, born 1988, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on a probabation violation and faces a hearing Jan. 4.
