James Ray Walker Jr., born 1950, of Brookings, was found guilty by a 12-person jury of felony DUII. The court found him guilty of two charges of driving with a revoked license; he will be sentenced April 1.
Richard Duane Smith, born 1977, of Brookings, was charged with a probation violation on original charges of identity theft. A theft of services charge was dismissed and he has pleaded not guilty to criminal trespassing charges.
Gina Faye Early, born 1986, of Harbor, pleaded guilty to DUII and reckless driving; two charges of recklessly endangering another and criminal mischief were dismissed.
James Timothy Foley, born 1959, of Brookings, was arraigned on DUII charges; a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana was dismissed.
Justin Roy Grimsley, born 1978, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance and theft. An identity theft charge was dismissed.
A 12-person jury found Micah Frank Haymes, born 1974, of Port Orford, guilty of theft, and not guilty of felony burglary charges. He will be sentenced April 1.
Randy Lawrence Waters, born 1951, of Gold Beach, was convicted of second-degree water pollution and sentenced to 36 months’ probation, fined $1,650 and ordered not to conduct suction dredging operations in scenic areas of the Rogue River nor operate any such operations without a permit and permission from the court. A second charge of the same was dismissed.
Phillip E. Chandler, born 1977, of Brookings, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine and sentenced to 18 months of probation, 10 days in jail, ordered to take drug and alcohol counseling and fined $1,080.
Cody Alan Grable, born 1991, of Port Orford, admitted to a probation violation. He also pleaded guilty and was convicted of theft and criminal mischief charges. An attempted theft charge was dismissed.
Shelby L. Mitchell, born 1989, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to identity theft and was sentenced to a 12-month deferred probation and fined $400.
Printha Danielle Wilson, born 1980, of Crescent City, pleaded no contest and was found guilty of theft; she was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, five days in jail and fined $1,180.
Thomas John Seidel, born 1962, Brookings, was found guilty of criminal trespass and sentenced to 30 days suspended in jail and a $1,750 fine.
Kylie Harrison Crowe, born 1986, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty for failing to appear; he will be sentenced April 12.
William Cody Coon, born 1993, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty and was convicted for recklessly endangering another. A charge of the same and another of menacing were dismissed. He was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, fined $350 and required to attend domestic violence counseling.
Ashia Kay Heddinghaus, born 1989, of Brookings, was arraigned on four charges of possession of a controlled substance.
Matthew Sol Hughes, born 1971, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted to felon possessing a firearm and assualt of a public safety officer. Charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and disorderly conduct were dismissed.
Christina Sheree Deveraux, born 1978, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on two charges of driving while suspended.
Carmen Genvieve Hooper, born 1995, of Brookings, pleaded no contest and was convicted of minor in possession of alcohol, fined $200 and had her license suspended for six months.
Samuel M. Level, born 1987, of Phoenix, was sentenced to a year of diversion and fined $335 for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Michelle Denise Long, born 1972, of Brookings, was arraigned on theft charges.
Christopher M. Marval, born 1976, of Brookings, was arraigned on harassment charges.
James David Musalf, born 1959, of Port Orford, pleaded not guilty to felony charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
Michael Ray Perry, born 1963, of Harbor, pleaded not guilty to one charge of animal abuse and eight charges of animal neglect for allegedly leaving nine horses abandoned without food and water on a Brookings resident’s property. A 10th horse died. A six-person jury trial is slated for June 12.
Donald Eugene Phillips, born 1982, of Brookings, was arraigned on charges of refusing an intoxicant test.
Christopher Anthony Speegle, born 1966, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted of DUII. He was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, fines of $2,645, two days in jail, alcohol treatment and will have his license suspended for a year.
David James Kamph, born 1976, of Langlois, pleaded guilty to two charges of burglary.
Melissa Kay Peper, born 1979, of Bandon, had her diversion revoked on origional charges of DUII and possession of methamphetamine.
Joshua Jay Suiter, born 1989, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted of failing to appear. A charge of attempted assault was dismissed.
