Correction

The Curry Coastal Pilot’s Court Report published May 7 incorrectly reported that Lawrence Allen Payne, born 1964, was convicted of three charges on May 4, one a felony. The court report of May 14 correctly said he was sentenced on May 12 on three misdemeanors – pointing a firearm at another, menacing and disorderly conduct. Deputy District Attorney Bob Meyer said that one charge was originally filed as a felony, but it was later refiled as a misdemeanor because of the criminal background of another person with a similar name.

Joseph Francisco Cyrus, born 1989, Brookings, failed to appear Aug. 29 for a pretrial conference on six counts of identity theft and one of theft. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Kenneth Kaufman-Magallanez, born 1988 Show Low, Ariz., was convicted by default Aug. 29 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and was ordered to pay $1,045.

William Mathew Drews, born 1971, Bandon, was convicted Aug. 29 of probation violation. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Melinda Lou Green, born 1957, Portland, was convicted Aug. 29 of criminal trespass. She was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and to pay $202.

Jacquelyn Adele Kleid, born 1960, Brookings, on Aug. 29 had her diversion revoked and was sentenced for driving under the influence of intoxicants to two days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,600.

Michael T. Scannell, born 1990, Brookings, on Aug. 29 was granted a 12-month diversion for driving under the influence of intoxicants and was ordered to pay $458.

Jacob P. Stern, born 1983, Gold Beach, was granted a one-year diversion Aug. 29 for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and was ordered to pay $333.

Robert J. Taylor, born 1977, Gold Beach, was convicted by default Aug. 29 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and was ordered to pay $1,045.

Cathleen Anne Lovejoy, born 1952, Brookings, failed to appear Aug. 29 for a show cause hearing and her diversion for driving under the influence of intoxicants was revoked. Sentencing was set for Oct. 4.

Katelin Heather Benedict, born 1984, Seaside, failed to appear Aug. 30 for arraignment on a show cause order. Her DUII diversion was revoked and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Scott Davidson, born 1986, Agness, was sentenced Aug. 30 for driving under the influence of intoxicants after his diversion was revoked. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,635.

Gary Richard Lage, born 1946, was convicted Aug. 30 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 120 hours of community service, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,635.

David J. Westerman, was sentenced Aug. 30 on his conviction for theft to pay $500 fine and pay a $150 compensatory fine plus $149.30 restitution to Ray’s Food Place.

Ladonna Wray Rodriguez, born 1965, was convicted Aug. 30 of failure to appear on a criminal citation and disorderly conduct. For failure to appear, she was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $635. For disorderly, she was sentenced to 30 hours of community service, 24 months’ probation and to pay $635.
