Kurtis Timothy Small, 21, Lakeside, was convicted Sept. 17 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was placed on a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $333.

Marilyn Kay Carraher, 60, Port Orford, was convicted Sept. 20 of burning in a restricted area. She was ordered to pay $95.

Kenneth L. Dubay, 83, Wedderburn, was convicted by default on Sept. 20 of a wildlife law violation. He was ordered to pay $195.

Janie Beth Henshaw, 40, Phoenix, was convicted Sept. 20 of probation violation. She was sentenced to two days in jail and her probation was extended one year.

Charlene Kay Hixon, 53, Crescent City, Calif., failed to appear Sept. 20 for arraignment in two cases. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Brian Scott Hodel, 29, Port Orford, was convicted Sept. 20 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was ordered to pay $545.

Drew Louis Mason, 22, Brookings, was convicted by default Sept. 20 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was ordered to pay $1,045.

Samuel K. Jefferies, 54, Harbor, was convicted Sept. 21 of three counts of county building ordinance violation. He was ordered to pay $360 on each count.

Daniel Neil Bishop, 24, Brookings, was convicted Sept. 21 of possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of intoxicants. For the felony marijuana possession, he was given a conditional discharge and sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay$ 1,535. For the DUII, he was placed on a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $458.

Mitchell Wesley Dye, 47, Myrtle Creek, was convicted Sept. 21 of identity theft and theft. For identity theft, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $1,035 plus restitution to be determined. For theft, he was sentenced to five days, to be served concurrently, 18 months’ probation and to pay $885.

Tod Edward Gnadig, 36, Brookings, failed to appear Sept. 21 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Denis Arlie Rochholz, 59, Merlin, was convicted Sept. 21 of reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,215 for reckless driving and for the DUII, he was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, to be served consecutively, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,635.

Chelsea Reisinger, 18, Brookings, was convicted Sept. 22 of minor in possession of alcohol and furnishing liquor to a minor. For possession, she was ordered to pay $200. For furnishing, she was ordered to pay $500.

Michael Ray Spliethof, 19, Brookings, failed to appear Sept. 22 on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon and was convicted by default on two counts of minor in possession of alcohol. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the weapon charge and he was ordered to pay $500 on each of the two possession charges.

Darren Edward Vonbraun, 24, La Mesa, Calif., failed to appear Sept. 22 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Clarence Chet Covely, 35, Gold Beach, was convicted Sept. 22 and sentenced Sept. 23 for harassment. He was placed on a two-year deferred sentence and ordered to pay $302.

Phillip Mark Shoemaker, 35, Brookings, was convicted Sept. 23 of possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $642.

Eric Michael Borchman, 24, Myrtle Point, was convicted Sept. 23 of failure to appear on Aug. 31 for sentencing on a theft conviction and for a probation violation hearing. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail for the failure to appear, 24 months’ probation and to pay $562. For theft, he was sentenced to five days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $782. For probation violation, he was sentenced to five days in jail. The jail time is to be served consecutively.

Alicia Marie Console, 46, Gold Beach, was convicted Sept. 23 of disorderly conduct. She was sentenced to four days in jail and to pay $107.

Heidi Marie Howser, 26, Gold Beach, failed to appear Sept. 23 on charges of disorderly conduct, two of criminal trespass and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. She was convicted by default on the marijuana charge and ordered to pay $1,045. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the other two charges.

Shane Michael Ortiz, 39, Brookings, failed to appear Sept. 23 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Cuno Sapora, 60, Crescent City, Calif., was sentenced Sept. 23 on his Sept. 17 conviction for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 200 hours of community service, 24 months’ probation and to pay $2,695.

Robert Lee Sanchez, 41, Crescent City, Calif., was convicted Sept. 23 of probation violation. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and his probation was continued until July 2012.

James Leon Tucker, 65, Port Orford, was convicted Sept. 23 of contempt of court. He was ordered to pay $500.
