Billy Eugene Dill, 52, Brookings, on Oct. 4 was convicted of probation violation. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 60 days in jail.

Kurt Frederick Fleming, 41, Brookings, was convicted Oct. 1 of exceeding daily bag limit of black rockfish. He was ordered to pay $195.

Paul Shaun Iverson, 19, Gold Beach, on Oct. 4 failed to appear for a trial readiness hearing. A warrant was issued for his arrest. He was later arrested and on Oct. 8 his trial was rescheduled for Dec. 9.

Kelly J. Lovejoy, 37, Brookings, failed to appear Oct. 4 for a trial readiness hearing. Her security bond was forfeited and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Jeffery B. McAtee, 44, Klamath Falls, was convicted by default on Oct. 4 of angling by prohibited method —barbed hooks. He was ordered to pay $120.

Donald Lee Pedro, 63, Gold Beach, was convicted Oct. 4 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was placed on a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $458.

Brandon Ray Smith, 21, Shady Cove, failed to appear Oct. 4 on two charges of identity theft. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Rex Alva Stevens Jr., 31, Brookings, was convicted Oct. 4 of driving under the influence of intoxicants and recklessly endangering another. For the DUII, he was placed on a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $458. For recklessly endangering, he was placed on 24 months’ probation and ordered to pay $885.

Curtis J. Tron, 50, Klamath Falls, was convicted by default on Oct. 4 for angling by prohibited method — barbed hooks. He was ordered to pay $120.

Anthony J. Cervantes, 25, Brookings, was convicted Oct. 5 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sentencing was set for Oct. 13.

Matthew Scott VanVliet, 21, Brookings, was convicted Oct. 5 of felony assault and his deferred sentence was revoked for attempting to assault a police officer. Sentencing was set for Oct. 7, when he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 36 months’ probation and ordered to pay $642 plus $2,307 restitution for the felony assault, and 60 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and ordered to pay $782 for attempted assault. The jail time is to be served consecutively.

Laura Lanay Bagley, 41, Brookings, was convicted Oct. 7 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sentencing was set for Oct. 11.

David Marc Byrnes, 47, Nampa, Idaho, failed to appear Oct. 7 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Joseph Lanny Davis, 32, Port Orford, failed to appear Oct.7 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Mitchell Wesley Dye, 47, Myrtle Creek, was convicted Oct. 7 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to three days in jail, 24 months’ probation, and ordered to pay $2,695.
