Ryan Martin, 36, Brookings, was convicted May 3 of dog running at large and no dog license. Sentencing was set for May 20. ~~~ Daniel Matlock, 31, Brookings, was found not guilty May 5 of first-degree burglary, criminal trespass and theft. ~~~ Lisa Renee Fimbes, 52, Grants Pass, was convicted May 5 of driving under the influence of intoxicants and refusing intoxicant test. For the DUII, she was given a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $458. For refusing, she was ordered to pay $500. ~~~ Joseph Ray Herrera, 26, Crescent City, Calif., failed to appear May 5 for a status check on DUII, reckless driving and failure to appear charges. A warrant was issued for his arrest. ~~~ Brennen Patrick Moran, 29, Brookings, was convicted May 5 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 36 months’ probation and ordered to pay $2,635. ~~~ Denise Cairns, 36, Brookings, was convicted May 6 of harassment. Sentencing was set for June 1. ~~~ Breanne Kytola, 24, Port Orford, was convicted May 6 of three counts of negotiating a bad check. On the first count, she was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 36 months’ probation and to pay $562. On the second, she was sentenced to 20 days, to be served consecutively, 36 months’ probation and to pay $502. On the third count, she was sentenced to 30 days, to be served consecutively, 36 months’ probation and to pay $502. ~~~ Carmen Victoria Ceremony, 31, Central Point, was sentenced May 7 for driving under the influence of intoxicants following the revocation of a diversion. She was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,440. ~~~ Joseph Genaro Hernandez, 28, Hoopa, Calif., was convicted May 7 of unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was sentenced to 13 months in prison, 24 months’ post prison supervision, and to pay $842 plus restitution to be determined within 90 days. ~~~ Richard Bryan Smith, 38, Brookings, failed to appear May 7 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest. ~~~ William J. Svejcar, 54, Milwaukie, was convicted May 7 of reckless driving. He was given a deferred sentence and ordered to pay $567. ~~~ Jetta Camille Trask, 21, Harbor, was convicted May 7 of endangering the welfare of a minor. She was given a deferred sentence, ordered to perform 30 hours of community service, take a parenting class and to pay $167. ~~~ Larry Duane Thornburg, 59, Brookings, was convicted May 7 of possession of a forged instrument. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $1,142. |
