Bret Evan Berhardt, 35, Brookings, on March 15 was convicted of giving false information to police. He was ordered to pay $345.

Michael Jim Crawford, 56, Brookings, was convicted March 22 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was placed on a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $458.

Jesse Culley, 18, Port Orford, was convicted March 22 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $245.

Joel Loy Hawes, 45, Crescent City, Calif., failed to appear March 22 on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Dale R. Holland, 53, Sparks, Nev., was convicted by default on March 22 for a wildlife law violation. He was ordered to pay $75.

Mathew Paul Walker, 26, Pendleton, failed to appear March 22 on an assault charge. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Timothy Jon Kane, 46, Redmond, failed to appear March 23 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Nathan Sterling Williams, 32, Crescent City, Calif., was convicted March 23 of probation violation. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

John Ray Cowan, 52, Brookings, was sentenced March 24 on his conviction March 17 for first-degree theft and official misconduct. For the theft, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $2,155 plus $4,000 compensatory fine. For misconduct, he was sentenced to 10 days, to be served concurrently, 36 months’ probation and to pay $1,635.

Heather Michelle Iverson, 21, Brookings, was convicted March 24 of possession of methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $647.

Roger Vernon Probasco, 65, Brookings, was convicted March 24 of two counts of driving under the influence of intoxicants. On the first count, he was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 36 months’ probation and to pay $1,715. On the second, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, to be served consecutively, 36 months’ probation and to pay $2,635.

Harry Edward Sizelove, 39, Portland, was convicted March 24 of criminal mischief. He was sentenced to five days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $545 plus $600 compensatory fine and restitution to be determined within 90 days.

Tyler Nash Chapman, 27, Crescent City, Calif., was convicted March 25 of theft and failure to appear. For the theft, he was ordered to pay $327 plus $286.53 restitution and $500 compensatory fine. For failure, he was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $67.

Travis Jason Grice, 30, Brookings, was convicted March 25 of assault. He was placed on a one-year deferred sentence and ordered to pay $567.

Thomas David King, 45, Gold Hill, misdemeanor treated as violation, which was dismissed on March 26 following a civil compromise.

Ashley Renee Mickelson, 23, Ophir, was convicted March 26 of disorderly conduct. She was ordered to pay $500.

Juan Pena-Reyes, 24, Crescent City, Calif., was convicted March 26 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 200 hours of community service, 36 months’ probation and ordered to pay $1,715.

Jeffrey John Wieneke, 65, Brookings, was convicted March 26 of interfering with a peace officer. He was given a one-year deferred sentence and ordered to pay $167.
