Ashlee Pauline Cox, 24, Eureka, Calif., was convicted Dec. 22 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. She was ordered to pay $750.

Nicholas Andrew Hisely, 25, Brookings, was convicted Dec. 23 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was ordered to pay $1,000.

Todd W. MacLeod, 45, Colton, on Dec. 28 had charges of failure to appear dismissed.

Juan Martinez, 20, Brookings, was convicted by default on Dec. 28 of being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was ordered to pay $300.

Dustin J. North, 18, Gold Beach, was convicted Dec. 28 of being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was ordered to serve 15 hours of community service and to pay $75.

Kevin Christopher Young, 38, Harbor, failed to appear on Dec. 28 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Peggy Jean Martin, 41, Roseburg, failed to appear on Dec. 29 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Tracey Elaine Halpape, 47, Brookings, was convicted Dec. 30 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sentencing was set for Jan. 6.

Alejandro Zavala, 30, Brookings, was convicted Dec. 30 of criminal mischief and violation of two probations. On the new conviction, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $202 plus $142.97 restitution. On a DUII probation, the probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 170 days in jail. On an assault probation, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail. The jail sentences are to be served consecutively.
