The Nov. 17 Court Report incorrectly listed Julie Catherine Peterson as pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 10 days in jail, suspended license and a fine and probation. This is an old crime. She was in court that week seeking a hardship driver license so she could travel to work.
Due to a hung jury, a DUII case against Christina Grace Zendejas, born 1987, of Crescent City, was dismissed.
Philip Travis Johnson, born 1947, of Kneeland, Calif., pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUII and was sentenced to 24 months probation, $2,505 in fines, five days in jail and one-year license suspension. Another charge of refusing to take an intoxicant test was dismissed.
William E. Upton, born 1969, of Harbor, pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; trial is set for Dec. 20.
James Ray Walker Jr., born 1950, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to a felony DUII charge and driving while his license was revoked; a trial will be held March 12.
Savannah M. Wiesenborn, born 1983, of Brookings, had charges of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana diverted; she was sentenced to a year of diversion and fined $335.
Darren Charles Grubbs, born 1991, of Madras, was found guilty of misdemeanor menacing and two charges of criminal mischief and sentenced to 24 months probation, $1,140 in restitution to victims and 20 days in jail. Three other charges were dismissed.
Richard Jaysun Keehn, Sr., born 1957, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of theft and faces a Feb. 1 trial.
Jo Redland, born 1923, of Smith River, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was sentenced to 18 months deferred probation, is not allowed to drive and must pay a $500 fine.
Garry Bruce Roberts Jr., born 1970, of Harbor, was convicted for offensive littering and fined $250; a criminal trespassing charge was dismissed.
Paul Darren Stinson, born 1963, of Gold Beach, was issued a warrant on a probation violation on original charges of assault.
Eric J. Strickland, born 1960, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty on three charges of not having a landscaping contractors license and one charge of criminal mischief; trial was set for Feb. 7.
Joseph Patrick Wescott, born 1956, of Bakersfield, Calif., was issued a warrant after he failed to appear on DUII charges.
Tyler Allen Drafahl, born 1990, of Brookings, had charges of possession of a controlled substance dismissed.
Anthony Grebisz, born 1960, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to contempt of court charges and was sentenced to 12 months probation and fined $200.
June Dolores Moran-Checchi, born 1928, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to charges of refusing to take an intoxicant test and was sentenced to one year of diversion, a $490 fine and must have an interlock system installed in her vehicle.
Thomas Allen Rogers, born 1971, of Harbor, failed to appear on charges of resisting arrest and interfering with an officer.
Kadee Gray Gomez, born 1993, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to charges of underage possession of alcohol or trying to purchase alcohol and faces trial Dec. 3.
Christina Sheree Deveraux, born 1978, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty to DUII and had a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed.
Steven Leonard Reed, born 1978, of Brookings, was conditionally released on harassment and disorderly conduct charges.
Bryan Gregory Tovey, born 1975, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment charges and was sentenced to 36 months probation and fines of $480.
Jonathan Dean Wilber, born 1991, of Brookings, was ordered to pay restitution of $1,705 in a criminal mischief case.
John Robert Serna, born 1986, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty to charges of DUII and was released on conditions until sentencing.
Gary Richard Rogers, born 1958, of Brookings, was issued a warrant after he failed to appear in court on numerous charges.
