Sadie Lee Nichols, 53, Brookings, was convicted July 31 of telephonic harassment. She was ordered to pay $250. ~~~ Codie Dillon Center, 18, Brookings, was convicted by default Aug. 3 of being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was ordered to pay $360. ~~~ Codie Barton Johnston, 18, Brookings, was convicted by default Aug. 3 of being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was ordered to pay $200. ~~~ Daniel Lee Warden, 51, was convicted Aug. 3 of possession of marijuana and speeding. He was given a one-year diversion on the possession charge and was ordered to pay $233 and was ordered to pay $145 for speeding. ~~~ Dao Xiong, 20, Eureka, Calif., was convicted by default Aug. 3 of being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was ordered to pay $250. ~~~ Thao Yang, 18, Eureka, Calif., was convicted by default Aug. 3 of being a minor in possession of alcohol and having an open container in a vehicle. He was ordered to pay $250 for possession and $242 for the open container. ~~~ Blaine Andrew Clark, 45, Smith River, Calif., was convicted by a jury Aug. 4 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sentencing was set for Aug. 10. ~~~ Maria Luisa Fontenot, 74, Smith River, Calif., was convicted Aug. 4 of attempting to elude a police vehicle. She was placed on 12 months’ probation and ordered to pay $1,000. ~~~ Randy Wayne Reeck, 46, Brookings, was convicted Aug. 4 of criminal mischief. He was placed on 12 months’ probation and ordered to pay $750. ~~~ Carrie Mae Starkweather, 22, Brookings, was convicted Aug. 4 of probation violation. Her probation was continued and she was sentenced to 30 days in jail. ~~~ Jacob T. Gould, 22, Myrtle Point, was convicted Aug. 5 of boating in a kayak under the influence of alcohol. He was ordered to pay $500. He was also convicted of no floatation device and was ordered to pay $183. ~~~ Steven Lawrence Knapp, 26, was convicted Aug. 6 of unauthorized use of a vehicle and second-degree theft. Sentencing was set for Aug. 10. ~~~ Nicki Humphrey Knapp, 28, Brookings, was convicted Aug. 6 of contempt of court. She was sentenced to five days in jail. ~~~ Todd Bryant Bledsaw, 42, Brookings, failed to appear Aug. 6 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest. ~~~ Ronald Keith Coolidge, 27, Port Orford, was sentenced Aug. 6 for his July 29 conviction of identity theft and first-degree theft. He was sentenced 18 months’ prison on each count, to be served concurrently, and ordered to pay $910 plus restitution to be determined in 90 days. ~~~ Rick Thomas Phillips, 26, Port Orford, was convicted Aug. 6 of probation violation. His probation was continued and he was sentenced to 60 days in jail. Billy Eugene Dill, 51, Harbor, was convicted Aug. 7 of assault. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 36 months' probation and to pay $567 plus $9,253 restitution. ~~~ Chad Edward Clampitt, 35, Port Orford, was convicted Aug. 7 of assault. He was placed on an 18-month deferred sentenced and ordered to pay $567. ~~~ Erick E.G. Hollenbeck, 20, Langlois, failed to appear Aug. 7 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest. ~~~ Kelley Christine O’Donnell, 38, Brookings, was convicted Aug. 7 of theft. Sentencing was set for Aug. 11. ~~~ Donald Michael Frame Jr., 30, was convicted Aug. 7 of theft. He was placed on 12 months’ probation, ordered to pay $750 and was ordered to write a letter of apology within 30 days. The possibility of restitution was left open for 90 days. ~~~ Dan Laws Shackelford, 60, El Granada, Calif., was convicted Aug. 7 of criminal trespass. He was ordered to pay $500. |
