Chom Ye Higgins, born 1951, of Eugene, pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to 24 months’ deferred probation, ordered to pay $6,021 in restitution and fined $67. Two other charges were dismissed.

Ted Allen Johnson, born 1955, of Brookings, was convicted of reckless driving and sentenced to 36 months’ probation, 10 days in jail, ordered to pay $3,100 in fines and $3,994 in restitution, and will have his driver license suspended for 90 days. An assault charge was dismissed.

Gregorio Bastida Avila, born 1972, of Crescent City, pleaded guilty and was convicted of not carrying his license with him; he was fined $160.

Jenny Rae Beers, born 1971, of Brookings, was convicted of DUII; she was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 48 hours in jail and fined $1,635 and an additional $2,000 if she fails to complete inpatient treatment within a year.

Devery Randall Freeman, born 1962, of Gold Beach, was convicted of attempted assault charges and sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 10 days in jail, and ordered to pay $600 in fines and undertake a mental health evaluation. A second charge of marijuana possession was dismissed.

John Frank Harsen Jr., born 1974, of Gold Beach, was convicted of assault and sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 30 days in jail and fined $870 and ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation. A sentence of 12 months’ probation in a contempt of court charge will run concurrent to this charge.

Jayme Lynn Peterson, born 1990, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to DUII and sentenced to one year of diversion, fined $490 and ordered to have an ignition lock device installed in her vehicle.

Codey Alan Grable, born 1991, of Port Orford, has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to appear in court on theft charges.

David Lovell-Carl Landers, born 1988, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted of a wildlife violation, notably snagging; he was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and fined $600.

Denise Michelle Long, born 1972, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted of theft. She was sentenced to 12 months’ probation, fined $600 and ordered to pay $20 restitution to Jerry’s Rogue Jet Boats Gift Shop.

David Dean Marenco, born 1970, of Gold Beach, was convicted of DUII and sentenced to 36 months’ probation, 30 days in jail, fined $2,600 and will have his driver license suspended for three years. He was also convicted of possession of marijuana and fined $650, and convicted for refusing to take an intoxicant test and fined $650.

Dylan Joseph Elder Nova, born 1987, of Crescent City, pleaded not guilty to felony robbery charges.

Christopher James Phillips, born 1979, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted of driving while revoked; he was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 60 days in jail and fined $1,690.

Allen Douglas Vonnevin Jr., born 1979, of Port Orford, was ordered to pay $123,652.17 in restitution for his part in the assault of Wayne Russell Peters in January 2013. Vonnevin is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence; Glenn Burkhow Jr., an alleged accomplice in the attack, faces attempted murder charges in a jury trial next month.

David Scott Dickerson, born 1985, of Gold Beach, is wanted on a warrant on charges of second degree water pollution.

Charles Author Killian, born 1969, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to refusing to take an intoxicant test and faces trial April 30.

Douglas R. Momchiloucich, born 1961, of Gold Beach, was fined $260 for a wildlife law violation.

Anthony B. Nortness, born 1993, of Port Orford, was convicted of marijuana possession and fined $1,000.

Patricia Anne Russell, born 1937, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted of theft charges; she was fined $250.

Gary David Stevenson, born 1949, of Sacramento, had charges against him dismissed.

Alexander Gordon Lee Whinery, born 1994, of Grants Pass, pleaded guilty and was convicted of marijuana possession; he was fined $650.

Janice Kay Hamilton, born 1970, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty and was convicted of felony identity theft.

Jeff Westley Cathers, born 1990, of Wedderburn, pleaded guilty to harassment; charges of recklessly endangering another and disorderly conduct were dismissed.
