Tausif R. Chowdhury, 89, of Arcata, Calif., failed to appear in court and was convicted in absentia for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was fined $1,000.

Donald P. Hayes, born 1947, of Gold Beach, pleaded no contest to and was convicted on charges of having no floatation device in his boat; he was fined $260.

Tyler Elliot Miner Lowe, born 1993, of San Diego, was convicted of possession of marijuana and fined $1,000.

Clyde Ernie McDonald, born 1994, of Cave Junction, has a nationwide warrant out for his arrest for numerous charges, the most recent being felony possession of marijuana.

Danny Wedding, born 1951, of Brookings, was arraigned on disorderly conduct charges.

Jesse Scott White, born 1982, of Bandon, was arraigned on charges of contempt of court.

Kendall Nicole Sanders, born 1995, pleaded guilty and was convicted of criminal trespassing. She was fined $435.

Robert D. Dale, born 1995, of Crescent City, had marijuana possession charges dismissed.

Brandon Wayne Bristow, born 1991, of Brookings, pleaded guilty and was convicted of menacing charges; he was fined $490.

Gary Raymond Games, born 1943, of Salem, pleaded no contest and was convicted of sexual abuse; a second sexual abuse charge was dismissed. He was sentenced to 48 months probation, 120 days in jail and fined $1,600. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender and have no contact with minors or be in possession of pornography.

Erik Christian Harris, born 1995, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty and was convicted of unlawful possession of destructive devices; two other charges of the same were dismissed.

Brittany Lea Mitchem, born 1990, of Gold Beach, had her conditional release revoked after violating the terms of her probation in a felony drug possession case.

Jeanette Claire Paysse, born 1971, of Portland, had charges of felony possession of marijuana dismissed.

Glenn Allen Burkhow Jr., born 1980, of Port Orford, accused of attempted murder last January, was denied a request for release or a furlough from jail. His trial begins Feb. 18.

Burt J. Loessberg, born 1956, of Eagle Point, was denied a request to have his felony conviction reduced to a misdemeanor. He was also ordered to never possess an Oregon falconry permit.

Richard Kirk Pendleton, born 1966, of Brookings, had his request to set aside his felony methamphetamine possession charge denied.

Jeffrey Bryan Glossop, born 1955, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on charges of criminal mischief and reckless driving.

Amanda L. Glover, born 1981, of Harbor, pleaded guilty and was convicted of selling tobacco to a minor; she was fined $220.

Clarence Hample Jackson, born 1967, of Brookings, was arraigned on DUII charges.

Pinkey Lain Preston, born 1957, of Medford, had a warrant issued for his arrest and his conditional release revoked after he failed to appear in court on charges of felony failing to register as a sex offender.

Matthew Ryan Wiltse, born 1979, of Brookings, was arraigned on a probation violation in an assault case.

David Dean Marenco, born 1970, of Gold Beach, had a warrant issued for his arrest after failing to appear in court in a felony DUII case.

Bradley Dean Collier, born 1986, of Brookings, was arraigned on misdemeanor strangulation and harassment charges.

Janine Holliday Witt, born 1965, of Port Orford, was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal trespassing.

Deborah Ann Farrell Newman, born 1959, of Brookings, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Rodney Ray Williams, born 1973, of Brookings, was determined to be ineligible for diversion in relation to DUII and reckless endangerment charges he faces. His arraignment is Jan. 6.
