The following information is taken from the daily logs of local law enforcement agencies. Charges listed are preliminary and are made at the discretion of the arresting officer or agency. Charges may be amended or dropped at the discretion of the district attorney or courts. Thursday, Jan. 19 Philip Lee, 23, of Brookings, for fourth-degree assault, harassment and second-degree criminal mischief; bail set at $25,000. Steven Lanphere, 45, of Brookings, for probation violation; no bail. Joshua Thompson, 31, of Gold Beach, for false information to police and reckless endangering; bail set at $15,000. James Ryan, 54, of Medford, for an outside agency hold from Jackson County; bail set at $4,000.
