9:32 a.m.: U.S. Coast Guard Station Chetco River received call from the vessel Mickey Fin that she was disabled with engine problems. A Coast Guard 47-foot motor lifeboat responded, but the vessel was able to make it back to the Chetco River with its trolling motor. The lifeboat followed the vessel to its slip.
Monday, July 9
7:32 p.m. The U.S. Coast Guard Station Chetco River received a call from a 24-foot pleasure craft lost in the fog. A Coast Guard 470-foot motor lifeboat responded, located the vessel using radar, and escorted it back through fog to the Port of Brookings Harbor.
Tuesday, July 21
1:05 p.m. The U.S. Coast Guard Station Chetco River responded to a request for a tow from a 21-foot pleasure craft that had electrical problems. A Coast Guard 47-foot motor lifeboat towed the craft back to the Port of Brookings-Harbor.
