9:30 a.m.: Personnel from the U.S. Coast Guard Station Chetco River received a call from the Running Easy, a 54-foot yacht, that she had a crab pot line fouling its screw in the vicinity of Thomas Creek bridge and one nautical mile offshore. The station responded with a 47-foot motor lifeboat and towed the yacht to the Port of Brookings-Harbor.
Monday, Feb. 8
7 p.m.: A 47-foot motor lifeboat from U.S. Coast Guard Station Chetco River conducted helicopter operations training with a helicopter from Air Station Humboldt Bay.
