William R. Sinclair, 76,Vancouver, Wash., died June 11, 2001, at his home.
He was born in Alhambra, Calif., Oct. 10, 1924.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in Europe as a medic. He was a Presbyterian most of his life, singing in the choir and actively serving the church. He also enjoyed woodworking and camping.
Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Barbara Sinclair of Vancouver, Wash; daughter, Linda Paulson of Seattle, Wash; sons Craig Sinclair of Temple City, Calif.; David Sinclair of Vancouver, Wash.; brother Bruce Sinclair of Santa Ana, Calif.
Also surviving are five grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held today (June 20) at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by burial at sea.
A family service was held June 14 at First Presbyterian Church of Vancouver, Wash.
