William Nicolas Lewis Jr., 71, Concord, Calif., died Aug. 6, 2000.
He moved to the Concord area six months ago after spending 18 years in Brookings.
He was born May 14, 1929, in San Francisco, Calif. to William Nicolas Lewis Sr. and Evelyn Francis Lewis.
Mr. Lewis retired from Pacific Bell in 1981 and moved to Brookings.
He was a commercial and sport fisherman. He had three boats in the harbor the Honey Wilya, the Beer Can 1 and the Beer Can 2.
Survivors are daughters Diane Augostino and Dona Lewis.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his sons Robert J. Lewis Sr. in 1989 and William H. Lewis in July.
His ashes will be scattered at sea.
The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1885 Oak Park Blvd., Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Neptune Society in Walnut Creek, Calif.
