Wanda Lee Storch

Wanda Lee Storch, 62 of Harbor, died Sept. 13, 2002, at Curry General Hospital.

She was born Aug. 10, 1940, to William and Marjorie Lauderman in Paragon. Ind. She joined the Paragon Christian Church in her youth. After graduation from high school, she married Oliver A. Storch Nov. 3, 1958 in Paragon.

She spent her life creating a home for her family, and traveled with the children to her husband's construction job locations. She enjoyed crafts and her travels. Wanda was an outgoing person who made friends easily. She and her husband Ollie moved from Indiana to Brookings three years ago because of Wanda's health.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, a daughter and son-in-law, Tinker and James Flom of Eugene; a son and daughter-in-law, Seth and Sheila Storch of Worthington, Ind; brothers, Dale Lauderman and wife Annette, of Paragon, and William Atkins of Pensacola, Fla; two sisters, Wilma Guy of Paragon and Winona Thacker of Martinsville, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Wilbur Lauderman and infant grandson Jeremiah Storch.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.

Arrangements are under the direction of Redwood Memorial Chapel in Brookings.
