Timothy Arthur “Tim” Cox
Timothy Arthur Cox, 59, of Brookings, passed away July 3, 2013, at Sacred Heart Medical Center - RiverBend, in Eugene, ending a long battle with liver cancer. 

Tim was born March 2, 1954, to Lawrence and Virginia Cox, in Sacramento, Calif. 

He graduated from Luther Burbank High School in 1971, in Sacramento, and went on to complete a tour of duty in the U.S. Army, where he served in Special Services in Germany. Tim spent many hours helping produce theater events in the Kaiserslautern, Germany area. 

Tim married Ursula Geib, from Kaiserslautern, Germany on March 12, 1982. 

Tim worked as an audio-visual technician, commercial fisherman, carpenter, and electrician in the Sacramento area and in Brookings. 

He was an avid outdoorsman, generous and always ready to help a friend. 

He is survived by his father Lawrence Cox of Sacramento; mother Ginny Cox of Brookings; former wife Ursula Geib-Cox; daughters Jennifer Cox and Jessica Cox of Kaiserslautern; sister Cathy Bates of Orland, Calif.; brothers Mark Cox of Brookings, Matthew Cox of Crater Lake, Paul Cox of Brookings; and long-time companion Ms. Terry Dunn of Brookings. 

A celebration of life family gathering will take place in Brookings.

Remembrances may be made in his name to South Coast Humane Society, P.O. Box 7833, Brookings, OR 97415.
