Former resident Taylor Dietrich Anderson, 26, passed away July 24, 2011, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Taylor was born April 9, 1985, in Eureka, Calif., to Kim Anderson. He graduated from McKinleyville High in 2003. After graduation he started his career in the lumber and building industry.

After moving to Brookings in 2003, he met and married the love of his life, Cassandra Taylor, in 2005, and together they share two sons, Colby, 5, and Tanner, 4.

Taylor enjoyed skydiving, golf, UFC with the guys, architecture, riding ATVs, and camping. Most of all he loved to watch movies with his two boys.

Taylor leaves behind his wife Cassandra, sons Colby and Tanner, all of Brookings; his mother Kim Anderson of Eureka Calif.; grandparents Lyle and Gwen Nickel of Maricopa, Ariz., uncle Russ and auntie Erin and cousin Evan Nickel all of Chandler Ariz.; mother-in-law Jackie Taylor of Brookings; brother-in-law Jason Taylor of Brookings; brother-in-law Matt and his wife Sheena Taylor of Eugene. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and too many other “brothers” in Brookings and McKinleyville to mention. You know who you are!

He was proceeded in death by his brother Drew Anderson and his great-grandparents Albert and Rebecca Gutierrez, aka Bopo and Momo.

A Celebration of Life for Taylor will be held at a later date.

Arrangements under the direction of Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler, Ariz.
