Robert I. Wikoff, 60, of Crescent City, died April 5, 2002, in a Brookings care facility.

Mr. Wikoff was born May 23, 1941, a son of Ralph and Pearl Wikoff.

After completing his education, he met Maebeth Vanbiebber. They were married in Reno, Nev. Together they had four children. They were later divorced.

He spent most of his working career as a cook, most recently at the Captains Table, where he worked until illness forced his retirement four years ago.

Mr. Wikoff was a private person and a devoted father. He enjoyed gardening, playing solitaire, fishing and crabbing.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Robert Ivan Wikoff of Florida; Deanna Bowdish of Crescent City; Denny Wikoff of Grants Pass; and Donna Liddicoat of Coeur d Alene, Idaho; mother, of Crescent City; sisters, Nancy Skyler of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and Mary Wikoff of Victorville, Calif.; brother, Billy Wikoff of Crescent City. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Arrangements are under the direction of Redwood Memorial Chapel, Brookings.
