Robert “Brother Bob” Walker, 71, Bandon, a long time resident of Brookings, passed away Nov. 25, 2011, in Coquille. He was born Nov. 16, 1940, in Missouri. Brother Bob moved to Brookings in the 1970s. he was well known and loved very much by many. He founded the Southern Oregon Medical Marijuana Network (SOMM-NET) in 1999, through which he helped hundreds of people. A celebration of life will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Best Western Beachfront Inn conference room in Harbor. Submitted by his friends.
