Philip Warren Fox, 53, Culver, died Feb. 10, 2001, at St. Anthonys Hospital in Pendleton.
He was born April 12, 1947, in Bend to Comer and MaryBelle (Anderson) Fox.
He married Joyce Fox June 14, 1969, in Tigard.
They moved to Culver from Taiwan in 1996. Mr. Fox was employed as a school administrator for the Culver Public School System.
He was a member of the Metolius Friends Church, Confederation School Administration, Conservative Baptist International Missionary Assistance Corp. and the Culver City Council.
He was the community liaison for the Jefferson County Commission for Children and Families, and he served as an adult adviser for the Jefferson County Peer Court.
Mr. Fox was a past board member of the Oregon Association of Student Councils.
He enjoyed classic cars, gardening and being with youth.
Survivors are his wife of Culver; son Samuel Fox of Culver; daughter Cassia Fox of Culver; brother Curtis Fox of Brookings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
A memorial service is planned for Feb. 15 at 3:30 p.m. at the Culver School cafeteria.
A funeral service is planned for Monday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Metolius Friends Church in Culver.
Burial will be Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. at Roseburg Memorial Gardens in Roseburg.
