Paul Dudley Reel

Paul Dudley Reel, 61, Brookings, died July 26, 2000, at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford.

He was born in Illinois on July 26, 1939.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a former Brookings police officer and member of the sheriffs association. He worked for South Coast Lumber Co. for 20 years.

He was a Brookings resident for 35 years.

Survivors are his mother Pearl Loges, Brookings; companion Janice Watkins, Brookings; son and daughter-in-law Greg and Patricia Reel, Brookings; son Chris Reel, Eugene; granddaughter Shannon Reel, Brookings; brother and sister-in-law Larry and Bonnie Reel, Drain.

He was preceded in death by his wife Louise in 1991.

The family prefers contributions be made to Disabled Veterans of Oregon or the American Cancer Society of Brookings, P.O. Box 698, Medford, OR 97501.

Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1200 Easy St.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wiers Mortuary Chapel in Crescent City.
