Nelson S. Miles, 59, Brookings, died Oct. 15, 2001. He was born July 22, 1942, in Cascade, Idaho, to Oliver Jay Miles and Christina Youngquist Miles. He is survived by wife, Ann Miles; children and family, Theresa and Israel Garcia of Lebanon; Angela and Rita Miles of Lebanon; Jennifer and Tom Miles of Albany; Patrick and Rhonda Miles of Louisville, Ky.; Ron and Carolyn Olson of Everett, Wash.; Debbie and Ron Slodeen of Chemult; and Carl Dupree of Brookings. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren. Mr. Miles was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers and sisters, John, Robert, Maureen and Evelyn. Memorial services will be Thursday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. at his residence, 16051 Highway 101, Harbor. Friends and family are invited to participate. |
