Lillian Willimina Bragger Donnelly, 89, Harbor, died Aug. 2, 2001, in Coos Bay.
She was born May 8, 1912, in Exeter, Maine, to Bessie Love Wentworth and William Bucknell Bragger.
She moved to San Diego, Calif., as a teenager, finished school there and studied voice. She spent several summers with the Ludlums on the upper Winchuck River where she met James Jim Donnelly.
They married Feb. 12, 1941, in Venice, Calif.
She was a homemaker and cared for her father-in-law while raising four sons at an upper Winchuck River homestead.
She enjoyed singing in church choirs and in community activities. She was an active 4-H leader, a frequent writer of letters to the editor and involved in local politics.
Survivors are her sons, Richard Donnelly of Sylmar, Calif.; James Donnelly of Coos Bay; John and Steven Donnelly, both of Brookings; sister, Martha Northup.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous neices and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband; sister Francis Stevens.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Community Church, 607 Pacific Ave. Pastor Jim Lamb will officiate.
