Leonard Stanley Pfohl, 65, Brookings, died Dec. 25, 2001, in Crescent City.

He was born Oct. 21, 1936, in Livingston, Mont.

Mr. Pfohl was an 18-year resident of Curry County and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a life-long member of the NRA and a 28-year member of the Elks Lodge.

Survivors are his father, Leonard Pfohl of Gold Beach; mother, Irene Pfohl of Oregon City; companion, Dorothy Whitman; daughters, Cathy Timm and Sue Pfohl; son, Leonard Pfohl Jr.; and step-daughters, Elaine Naramore and Cathi Ojala.

Also surviving are three sisters, one brother, six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned Dec. 30 at noon at the Brookings Elks Lodge.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wiers Mortuary Chapel, Crescent City.
