Kathleen Rose Pendleton, 44, Brookings, died Nov. 28, 2000, in a house fire.
She was born July 3, 1956, in Painsville, Ohio to Daniel Dougherty and Kathryn (Kitty) Tressel.
She was raised and educated in East Lake, Ohio, graduating from Mentor High School.
Later, she relocated to San Francisco where she lived for several years until moving to Brookings.
She married Greg Orr Pendleton April 1995 in Harbor.
Mrs. Pendleton was self-employed working with her husband at their business Dick and Caseys Cannery.
She enjoyed reading, walking on the beach, her job and listening to music.
Survivors include her mother Kathryn Kitty Tressel, Hiram, Ohio; father Daniel Dougherty, Cleveland, Ohio; brother Edward Dougherty, Clearwater Beach, Fla.; sister Mary Ann Dougherty, Lake Oswego; sister Suzanne Dougherty, Havenna, Ohio; brother-in-law Alex Babin, Lake Oswego; niece Jesica Babin, Lake Oswego; nephew Michael Denyer, Ravenna, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Family Security Bank, P.O. Box 3000G, Harbor, OR 97415 or in-person at 16271 Highway 101, Harbor.
Services will be conducted today (Dec. 2) at 2 p.m. at the Brookings Elks Lodge. Rev. Warren Muller will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Scantlins Brookings Mortuary and Chapel.
