Josie Jo Alice Craft

Josie Jo Alice Craft, 81, Medford, died July 25, 2001, at Providence Medford Medical Center.

She was born April 7, 1920, in Elverta, Calif., to Frank and Vera Smith.

She married Earl Bud H. Craft Nov. 8, 1941, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She moved from Brookings to the Rogue Valley in 1993.

Mrs. Craft was a homemaker, a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and the Eastern Star, both in Enterprise. She enjoyed reading and the outdoors.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Tonnette and Robert Mathias of Medford; brother, James Smith of Elverta, Calif.; sister, Bea Shimmin of Sacramento, Calif.

Also surviving is one grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her husband, brother, Wilbert Smith and sister, Irma Cusick.

No services will be held.

The family requests remembrances be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 699, Medford, OR 97501.
