JoAnne Norwood, 82, of Brookings, died March 3, 2002, in Brookings. She was born Dec. 28, 1919, in Enid, Okla., and was a member of the Catholic Church in Lakeside Mont. She traveled extensively with her husband in the military. She was a counselor for Vietnam Veterans in Monterey, Calif. She treated vets with post traumatic stress disorder. She also worked at the county tax office in California. She is survived by her husband, Earl W. Norwood, Brookings; sister, Lova Jenkins, Sacramento, Calif. Private services are being planned for a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Redwood Memorial Chapel, Brookings. |
