Jessie Wayne Hurley, 69, Harbor, died July 17, 2001, in Harbor.
He was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Carnegie, Okla., to Orby C. and Ola Hurley.
He was married to Beverly Hurley for 45 years.
Mr. Hurley worked as a general contractor in Klamath Falls. He served one year on the city council in Chiloquin and served on the board of directors for Klamath Falls Home Builders Association. He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in Brookings.
He enjoyed fishing and camping as well as spending time with friends and family. He was known as Galaxy when he was on the ocean.
Survivors are wife of Brookings; daughters, Diane (Stephen) Donovan of Central Point and Kathy Perez of Brookings; sisters Faye Ralph of Fresno, Calif.; Crystal (Kyle) Lantz of Beatrice, Neb.; brothers Orby (Evelyn) John of Chickasha, Okla.; Alfred (Bertha) Hurley of Chickasha; grandchildren Ryan and Michael Perez, both of Brookings; Alyce Brissey of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Neil Donovan of Central Point.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother, Gene and sister, Marie.
Services were July 21 at Calvary Assembly of God in Brookings. Rev. Adrian Van Aswegen officiated.
