Jeff Crandall, 41, Reno, Nev., died Aug. 8, 2001, in Rio Vista, Calif., from a car accident.

He was born July 30, 1960, in Winnemucca, Nev., to Donna and Hobie Lee Crandall.

Mr. Crandall was a carpenter foreman for Panelized Structures of California for eight years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union 971 in Nevada for 22 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors are his son, Josh A. Crandall of Jerome, Idaho; mother, Donna Crandall of Brookings; sisters, Cherie Crandall of McCall, Idaho; Katie Crandall of Dallas, Texas; Deea (Thadd) Van DerDussen of Elko, Nev.; brothers, Craig (Toni) Crandall of San Carlos, Calif.; Brett (Sharee) Crandall of Manteca, Calif.

Preceding him in death was his father, Hobie Lee Crandall.

Visitation is scheduled for Aug. 14 from noon to 2 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.

A service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
