Jean A. Kyes

Jean A. Kyes, 55, Gold Beach, died Nov. 6, 2000.

She was born Aug. 27, 1945, in South Hadley, Mass.

She was raised and educated in South Hadley and graduated in nursing from Clackamas Community College in Oregon City.

She lived in South Hadley, Nashua, N.H., West Linn and Gold Beach.

She married Stephen G. Kyes Aug. 6, 1983, in Brookline, N.H.

Mrs. Kyes was a registered nurse and a home health and hospice nurse for Curry County Home Health and Hospice for the last seven years.

Her hobbies and interests were her family, which included all of her animals, beachcombing for fossils and gardening.

Survivors are her husband Stephen Kyes; daughter Karen Ackerman; son Stuart Vigneux; stepdaughters Shelley McGee and Selena Smith; sister Cynthia Moos; brothers James and Charles Moos; mother Flora Moos.

Donations may be made in her name to Curry County Hospice, 29984 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach, OR 97444.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scantlins Mortuary, Brookings Chapel.
