James "Jimmy" Webb Reynolds, 50, Brookings, died June 17, 2002, in Crescent City following an extended illness. He was born July 22, 1951, in Santa Monica, Calif., to James and Joyce Reynolds. He graduated from Westchester High School as an honor student in 1969. He was a musician, president of the high school choir and played in the band. He attended El Camino Junior College while working various sales positions. He started two polyurethane plants in Los Angeles. In 1987, he moved to Brookings and worked as a CNA at Curry Good Samaritan Center, where he later became a resident. He enjoyed animals, music and people, according to his family. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his parents; daughters, Shannyn Snyder; and Sheryl A. Reynolds of Somerset, Calif.; sons, Ryan Bishop; and James E. Reynolds of Reno, Nev.; grandchild, Eden Potter; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Candace Reynolds of Bakersfield, Calif.; David and Tyas Reynolds of Canoga Park, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law, Diana C. and Wayne Gibson of Corvallis. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life memorial service will be scheduled and announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Redwood Memorial Chapel. |
