Irma P. Pate, 86, Lebanon, died May 8, 2001, at the Villa Cascade Care Center in Lebanon.
She was born July 25, 1914, in Hatiengap, Ark., to Kelsey and Dessie Maloney Beauchamp.
In 1934, she married Harry Pate in De Queen, Ark. They moved from Oklahoma to California in 1941.
In 1952, they moved to Junction City. After retirement, they moved to Brookings.
She moved to Lebanon in February 2000.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, grandchildren and reading.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Sue and Gerald Ross of Brookings; son and daughter-in-law Bob and Carole Pate of Lebanon; brother Richard Beauchamp of Oklahoma; sisters Elaine Taylor of Oklahoma; Verna Flemons of Texas; grandchildren Kelly Ross, Elizabeth Sabin, Angela Pirtle, Rhonda Clough, Michelle Pate, Teresa Lovell and Scott Thomas.
Also surviving are 16 other grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, two brothers and one sister.
A memorial service is planned for a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Unit, Villa Cascade Care, in care of Workman and Steckly Funeral Chapel, 1443 Long St., Sweet Home, OR 97386.
