Howard H. Graves, 83, of Central Point, passed away April 9, 2013, in Medford.
He was born May 30, 1929, in Sumpter, where he grew up.
As a teenager he worked on the gold dredge in Sumpter, and later moved to Baker City where he drove a laundry truck.
He married Peggy June Posten, July 19, 1947, in Baker City.
In 1962 Howard moved his family to Brookings. He was employed by Brookings-Harbor School District for 30 years where he worked as a custodian, ran the bus garage and later returned to custodial work.
After retirement in 1996, he and Peggy moved to Central Point, where they bought their retirement home.
Howard is survived by his brother Kenneth Graves of Portland, son Howard G. Graves and daughter Gayle June Williams, both of Central Point.
He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy, in 2009.
At his request, no service will be held.
