Helen K. Kaser, 87, Brookings, died Oct. 28, 2000.
She was born Oct. 11, 1913, in Iowa.
She married David F. Kaser Dec. 21, 1948.
She moved to Brookings in July 1999 from American Forks, Utah.
Mrs. Kaser was a member of the VFW Auxiliary since 1945 and held all offices. She was involved in the Relief Society in the Mormon Church.
She loved to play bingo and Mexican dominoes, and she enjoyed eating where she could see the ocean.
Survivors are son and daughter-in-law William C. Westbury Jr. and Sharon Westbury, Brookings; grandchildren David R. Westbury, Walnut Grove, Calif.; Becky Ingle, Jimmy Ingle, Sam and Ginger Ingle, Victoria and Robert Smith, all of Utah; William C. Westbury III and Zelda Westbury, Sacramento, Calif.; Charlene Cree, Baton Rogue, La.
Also surviving are numerous great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband in 1989 and her daughter in 1997.
Memorial services are scheduled for today (Nov. 1) at 10 a.m. at the Brookings Funeral Home Chapel.
