April 24, 1933 – Feb. 6, 2014

Harry R. Gilmore Jr., 80, passed away at his home in Gold Beach, on Feb. 6, 2014.

Harry was born April 24, 1933, in Oakland, Calif., to Harry and Lucy (Fisk) Gilmore.  

He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  

Harry spent most of his career as a longshoreman in the Local 34 in San Francisco. He enjoyed fishing and collecting cars.

Survivors include his sons David and Ken Gilmore and a granddaughter, Rachel.
