Gordon Winfred Scott

Gordon Scott was born in New York, grew up in Lyndonville, N.Y. and peacefully passed in Roseville, Calif., at the age of 79. 

On Sept. 17, Gordon moved from  Brookings, his home of 23 years, to Roseville. 

He will be greatly missed by his family: daughters Robin Stout of Ukiah Calif., Pamela Maeda of Roseville, and Karen Duley of  Granite Bay, Calif.; siblings Burgy Scott, and Queenie Nellist. He will forever be remembered by his six grandchildren: Kristina Ford, Matthew Stout, Stephanie Maeda, Kyle Maeda, Jenna Duley and Jonathan Duley; as well as great-grandchildren Caleb Ford and Trenton Ford. He was also survived by a host of loving family and friends. He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.

He was  preceded in death by his parents and his childhood friend and sweetheart, Patricia Ann Scott. 

A Celebration of Life for Gordon will be held at 2 p.m. today (Nov. 3) at Miller Funeral Home, 507 Scott St., Folsom, CA 95630. 

The family suggests that donations in Gordon’s name be made to the American Heart Association.
