Gertrude Landerholm, 82, Brookings, died May 24, 2000. She was born December 24, 1917, in Spokane, Wash. A long time resident of Smith River, Calif., she moved to Brookings in 1947. She was a gifted artist and gave ceramic and oil painting lessons for many years in her home. Survivors are son Russel Landerholm, Gold Hill; daughter Shaion Brair, Brookings; grandchildren and wives Richard and Cecelia Wetherell; Gary and Paige Wetherell. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Ryan, Brandon, Adam, Bryan, Amanda and Brent. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard Landerholm. Per her request, no services will be held. |
