Gail G. Dutton Sr., 78, Gold Beach, died Nov. 13, 2000, in North Bend.
He was born July 19, 1922, in West Virginia to Franklin and Harriet Dutton.
He went to school in Chicago.
He married Helen Dutton in 1941.
In World War II, Mr. Dutton served in the Army Air Corps, 421st Heavy Bomber Squadron, Murdock, Calif.
Later, he worked as a police officer in Wintrap Harbor, Ill.
After many years in police service, he owned and operated a supper club in Webb Lake, Wis.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church, American Legion and the Illinois Chief of Police Association.
Survivors are sons David Dutton, Racine, Wis.; Daniel Dutton, River Folk, Wis.; Gail Dutton Jr., Las Vegas.; Larry Dutton, Webb Lake.
Also surviving are five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his wife Helen Dutton. She died in 1998.
Services are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. at Lucky Lodge RV Park. 32040 Watson Lane, North Bank of the Rogue River.
Rev. William A. Smith, St. Timothys Episcopal Church, will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Littys Funeral Directors, Gold Beach Chapel.
