He was a line driver for 27 years in California. He lived in Brookings for 26 years and was an avid fisherman on the Chetco River. He moved to South Carolina in 2001. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruby I. Collins of St. Stephen; sons Earl A. Collins and wife Gail; Sam Collins and wife Kathy; daughter Linnea and husband Roger. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Cards and letters of condolence may be sent to Ruby Collins, P.O. Box 1191, St. Stephen, SC 29479. |
