Dorras loved and was loved by her family and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Gloria and John Sevey of Gold Beach; sons and daughters-in-law Gene and Mary Ellen Eubank of Kingsport, Tenn., Leslie and Linda Eubank of Katy, Texas; grandsons Matthew Eubank of Brooklyn, N.Y., Zachary Eubank of San Diego, David Eubank of College Station, Texas, Rob Weeks of Katy, Texas, Tim Weeks of Tomball, Texas, Kelly Sevey of Gold Beach, Tim Sevey of Eugene, Sean Sevey of Springfield; granddaughter Emily Birse of Katy; and former husband and friend Eugene O. Eubank Jr. of Sylva, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her father Dorras Leslie Tarrance and her mother Ella Gennette Tarrance Cochran.
Dorras was a classically trained pianist and was surrounded by music for the majority of her life. She was an avid reader and had a degree in literature from Indiana University. She loved to travel and, aside from living in several states, she also lived in the Middle East and Thailand. Her professions in life were as a homemaker, piano teacher, church organist/pianist and admissions supervisor at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She will be remembered by all for her friendliness, kindness and sweet smile. To know her was to be her friend. She will be remembered by her family for her brilliant mind, her lovely piano playing and her sharing, caring and loving ways.
